Legal & General helps employers promote pension schemes

Legal & General has launched a new portfolio of communication tools – including a movie - to help employers promote their group pension schemes direct to their employees.

Helen Buchanan, Legal & General’s Distribution Director (Corporate Wealth) said, “The introduction of the Financial Promotions Order now gives employers the chance to promote their scheme direct to their employees and so we’ve completely reviewed our communications support so that advisers can help their clients make the most of this opportunity.”

Legal & General’s new portfolio of communication tools includes:


A communications guide that gives advisers and their clients all the information they need to set up and administer a group pension scheme.
A range of template promotional materials for employers to promote their scheme to their employees.
A pensions information film for employees - available as a web link or DVD - aimed at helping the employer to provide financial education to employees about the importance of pension provision.
A company pensions website offering information and account management tools for both employers and employees.
A handy literature planner, designed to give the adviser an ‘at a glance’ guide to our comprehensive communications tools.

Helen continued, “All this is in addition to helping the employer in branding websites and literature to help them embed their schemes into their organisation as well as using pod casts to get essential messages across on pensions.”
