Legal & General expands fund choice on personal pensions

At the end of November, Legal & General added 20 new pension investment funds (18 external and two internal) for personal pension, group personal pension and self invested pension plan customers, taking the total fund choice on its individual pension products to 59.

These changes demonstrate our commitment to this increasingly important market, in which the need to provide greater investment choice is a core requirement. The range of funds has been specially chosen to meet the risk profiles and investment aims of our personal pension customers.”

Legal & General has written to its personal pension customers (and their financial advisers), to inform them of the new funds available from the end of November. Customers and IFAs need take no action, although they could choose to review their fund choice in light of the additional options.
