Friends Provident International (FPI) has introduced a new mirror fund link to the Martin Currie Asia Pacific SICAV, distributed on an exclusive basis until 29 June 2007.

The fund, run by the multi award-winning team of Jason McCay and Richard Evans, is based on a successful UK onshore OEIC, which is currently rated AA by both Forsyth OBSR and S&P.

The FPIL mirror fund is available in both a US dollar and Euro share class and brings the total of Martin Currie Funds available on the FPIL funds platform to four.

Jim Henning, funds research and marketing manager at FPI, said: “We continue to strengthen our investment offering with high-quality fund managers. The growth prospects in the Asia Pacific region remain attractive, which has led us to establish this additional link with Martin Currie, whose experienced Asia Pacific team has a proven investment approach and an enviable performance record.”
