Zurich expands fund range

17th July 2008 Print
Zurich has introduced an additional range of funds across its pension and investment proposition.
Intermediaries and their clients will be able to choose from a further 18 funds through the Sterling Bond as well as 22 new funds across the Sterling mutual funds proposition. For those investors looking to increase the breadth of their pension funds, 15 new funds have been added to Zurich's individual pension range.

The additional funds provide intermediaries and their clients with the opportunity to invest in a wider range of asset classes and geographical regions than previously available, as well offer investors new managed, multi-manager and multi-asset options.

As well as complementing Zurich's existing fund range, the new funds are designed to provide intermediaries and their clients with greater choice and flexibility during volatile markets.

In particular, for those investors adopting a cautious approach, the introduction of additional Money Market and Cautious Managed funds will prove popular. For the more adventurous client seeking exposure to emerging markets, the Gartmore Emerging Markets Opportunities and JPM New Europe will appeal.

Commenting on the enhanced funds range, Peter Davis, Fund Development Director said, "We understand that it is important to provider intermediaries and their clients with a wide range of fund choices that will appeal to all tastes. The introduction of the new funds across our pension and investment proposition allows intermediaries and their clients to tailor their investment needs according to their attitude to risk, as well as market volatility.

For those investors seeking a diversified, risk-based approach to investment, multi-manager funds will prove attractive.

The new range of funds is now available through the Sterling, Zurich's UK investment brand, through the Sterling Bond, Investment Account and ISA as well as the Zurich range of individual pensions.
