Legal & General launches new workplace benefits website

26th August 2009 Print
Legal and General Legal & General has launched a new and improved website, which combines its Corporate Pension and Group Protection websites and will house the new Corporate ISA information and services in one place.

The new Workplace Benefits website has also been designed to make it easy for our customers to access the online services and product information they need.

In addition to providing pension news that employees might be interested in, the site offers many new features including improved navigation, streamlined pages with dedicated sections for employees, advisers and employers and all essential literature for pensions, savings and protection.

The new Workplace Benefits site continues to offer our popular e-servicing and planning tools for workplace savings such as:

Manage Your Account (MYA) - an online facility that allows scheme members to view and control their pension online.

Retirement Planner - both current and potential scheme members can calculate future values such as planning contributions to reach a desired target net income or what retirement income their current contributions are likely to generate.

Attitude to risk - a useful tool to help scheme members decide where to invest their money by working out their attitude to risk

Legal & General's Managing Director Workplace Savings, Tony Filbin, commented: "This marks a major improvement in our employee workplace online offering. Workplace Benefits is now the only site that they will visit to keep fully informed of all our workplace pensions, savings and protection developments, and services. We have also improved site navigation making it easier for all our customers including scheme members to find what they want quickly."

Tony added: "For employers, trustees and scheme administrators the site provides a secure environment to access pension information and make changes through our Manage Your Scheme facility. The new online service should really make life easier for the people that matter."
