Barclaycard and InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) have come together to launch the Priority Club Rewards Visa credit card.

The card offers customers a great way to earn rewards that can be redeemed at IHG hotels and to celebrate the launch; cardholders will earn 10,000 bonus points when they first use their card - enough for a free night at selected Express by Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn properties worldwide.

Cardholders will be able to redeem their points against a wide range of rewards including hotel stays, airline miles, experience days out, exclusive wines and more. Rewards start at just 3,000 points.

The card is available online to customers from today, Thursday 1 May 2008, and will enable cardholders to earn Priority Club points on everyday purchases and double Priority Club points when they buy IHG accommodation and services with the card.

The key features of the card include:

10,000 bonus Priority Club points for the first transaction - enough for a free night away at selected Express by Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn properties worldwide
2 Priority Club points for every £1 on IHG services and 1 point for every £1 spent elsewhere
6 month interest free option on all balance transfers (2.99% balance transfer fee applies)
16.9% APR with no annual fee
