NatWest scores a hat trick of new savings deals!
NatWest is encouraging customers to start saving early in 2007 with three attractive offers to get saving. There are opportunities for both new and existing customers, as well as a focus on young savers.Heading up the trio of deals, in the run up to the end of the 2006/07 tax year and the start of the 2007/08 tax year, NatWest is offering both new and existing customers the opportunity to receive up to £100. Customers will receive tax-free lump sum payments of £50 if they use their full ISA allowance, £7,000 in total, for this tax year and a further £50 for next tax year.
NatWest is also launching a new NatWest Savings & Investments Free Prize Draw, offering savings customers the chance to win up to £10,000 and a limited edition Golden Annabel NatWest pig. From 12th February until 16th April, customers opening a new savings account or taking out an investment product with NatWest will automatically be entered into the free prize draw. Over 100 winners will be drawn and each winner will receive a cash prize of between £100 and £10,000. In addition, each lucky winner will be awarded a much sought after, limited edition Golden NatWest Annabel Pig.
NatWest is also continuing to encourage a saving trend amongst parents and children alike. The NatWest Young Saver account is an instant access savings account for under-11’s with no minimum balance requirement and a great rate of 5.25%. From 12 February 2007, there is a new incentive for customers who open a Young Savers account and set up a monthly standing order of £10 or more. These customers will receive a NatWest ceramic ‘Paint Your Own Pig’ piggybank. Customers will have the choice of either a ‘Footballer’ piggybank or ‘Ballerina’ piggybank; both come with 5-paint colours and all the equipment to paint it themselves.
Helen Page, NatWest Marketing Director, said: “Savings are high on the list of priorities when it comes to personal finances, and it is important for NatWest to continue to encourage a savings culture amongst customers of every age.”
She continued: “We are really pleased that the NatWest pigs are back once more as part of the prize draw and the Young Saver account, as historically they are the face of NatWest savings. We look forward to awarding our winners these super prizes for saving or spending!”
