Stuart Quinlan said, “In an increasingly litigious society, individuals and businesses are looking for accountability for the consequences they experience as a result of services delivered to them. There is a need for professionals, who either give advice or provide a service, to ensure they have adequate insurance to protect against a claim and that is what the new Zurich product offers them.

“We have the right people and the right products in place to achieve our ambition of becoming a top three player in this very competitive market. As part of the broader Zurich UK General Insurance division, we will be able to leverage our wider capability and strength, to bring this important activity to the market. We will be initially offering the proposition to a range of brokers and as we continue to build our capacity and expertise we will widen that broker potential.”
