The Walking Pains Of A Shoe-A-Holic

28th August 2007 Print
Kiwi Smiling Feet It’s official – we’re a nation of shoe-a-holics. In fact, one-third of young women recently surveyed by Kiwi Smiling Feet admitted being in love with stylish shoes. The average woman owns ten pairs of fancy/ smart shoes, and almost 40% admit to owning a pair of shoes that they have never even worn.

Ask any dedicated follower of fashion and she’ll tell you that the right shoes complete an outfit. But, behind every pair of stylish heels hides a painful story.

The most alarming finding from Kiwi Smiling Feet’s research, is that almost half (48%) of women surveyed, shamefully admitted to having walked home barefoot because their shoes hurt their feet so much! (Definitely, not a good look!)

Gluttons for punishment?

After admitting the pain and humiliation many women have suffered from wearing our favourite heels, 60% still agree that stylish, smart shoes aren’t an indulgence, but a necessity. Do we perhaps quietly suffer the pain of wearing high fashion shoes as rightful punishment for our excessive spending on our obsession? Or, do we simply find a way to wear our favourite stylish shoes every day without compromising comfort?

New Kiwi Smiling Feet allows you to do just this, with four transparent gel cushions specially designed to fit the main pressure points on your feet, so you can love wearing your favourite, stylish shoes every day. And, as they’re invisible, only you and your favourite shoes need to know!
