Rae Palmer Salon Celebrates Colour Trophy Win

Salon owner Rae Palmer is already an industry leader in colour; both Rae and Technical Manager Kirsty Paffett hold a prestigious Colour Specialist Degree, putting them into the top 1% of L’Oréal colourists in the UK; and Rae is responsible for industry firsts in the form of her Color Bar, and her award-winning Color Optic Shade Shots.
Now Rae’s protégé, 20 year-old Louise Skillen has beaten off competition from the whole of the South to be named Regional Winner of the Southern Regional L’Oreal Colour Trophy Finals, held in Brighton on April 3, 2007, for her image above – part of the brand new Midnight Moods collection.
Louise will now compete in the Grand Final, held at Earl’s Court 2 on May 21, where she will present her model to judges from Charles Worthington and Trevor Sorbie’s salons among others.
Rae has always had colour at the top of her agenda and since the salon’s January 2006 re-launch (following a £250,000 refit, including the bespoke Color Bar designed by Rae) colour services have increased by 12%.
Clients are thrilled with the standard of creative colour services, and Louise, seen on stage with Rae, above, will be embarking on the course later this year, confirming Rae Palmer Hairdressing as a colour specialist salon extraordinaire!
The salon is also a leader in hair care, and was one of the country’s first salons to offer Kérastase’s revolutionary Kérathermie treatment, a unique in-salon service for weak, dry, and rebellious hair.
A L’Oréal Regional Technical Centre, Rae always knows the perfect treatment for getting out of shape hair into tip top condition – ready for a gorgeous new colour!
