Yorkshire Team Pick Up Best Local Salon Nomination

West Row Hairdressing has pulled off an incredible triple awards nomination for 2007, cementing their position as Yorkshire’s leading salon group. Led by Directors Marc Westerman and Steve Rowbottom, the seven salon strong team has been shortlisted and/or winners in all 3 awards since 2002.

Popular with celebs and local clients alike, West Row Hairdressing is a key L’Oreal account, with Steve Rowbottom having created the imagery for L’Oreal’s latest advertorial campaigns in Vogue and Elle.

Steve, who has also worked extensively on London Fashion Week shows for the likes of FrostFrench and Matthew Williamson, heads up West Row’s own Art Team and has nurtured the team in their creative goals with unprecedented success.

23-year-old Nicola Hulatt is a case in point – her photographic entry has gained her a place in the hugely prestigious British Hairdressing Awards, and follows her Northern regional win in the L’Oreal Colour Trophy earlier this summer, and work backstage on Graduate Fashion Week with L’Oreal’s id artistic team.

The British Hairdressing Business Awards are announced September 10, the HAIR Awards follow on September 11, and the British Hairdressing Awards round off the calendar with a glittering ceremony on November 26.
