Errol Douglas’ A-list cuts

23rd June 2008 Print
Errol Douglas’ A-list cuts No stranger to the world of celebrity hair, Knightsbridge-based hairstylist Errol Douglas MBE, who recently gave Kelly Rowland her blunt fringe, and his team have been hard at work on a slew of films, including the newly released The Edge of Love starring Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley, which hits screens this Friday, June 20th.

The absence of hair colourants in wartime Britain meant that the authenticity of the actors’ looks were of paramount importance to the film’s producers. Senior Colourist at the Errol Douglas salon, Tracey Patterson, was charged with morphing the long blonde locks for which Sienna Miller is famous for, into a convincing red for the 1920s flick.

Further celebrity work by Errol’s team include recent cuts on Julia Robert’s niece, Emma Roberts for her new film Wild Child. They transformed a usually blonde Emma to brunette and finished the look with a signature cut. Actor Aidan Quinn, who plays Emma’s father in the film was also cut and styled while co-star, Natasha Richardson had her blonde highlights toned down to a natural, English rose brown.

Other recent A-list clients to Errol Douglas include redhead supermodel and St Trinian’s actor, Lily Cole, who came to the salon prior to her appearance at the Glamour Awards and a newly re-styled Big Brother’s Little Brother presenter Zezi Ifore.

The team are currently working on looks for actors of the new series of the glamorous, London-based BBC drama Hotel Babylon, starring Max Beesley and Emma Pierson. Also expect the man himself to grace our screens later this summer as he makes a special appearance on Gok Wan’s Clothes Show.

Errol Douglas is located at 18 Motcomb Street, Knightsbridge, London SW1X 8LB.
