Have you got the locks to be a hair icon?

Do you think you’ve got a cool do? Locks that turn heads? Well, now’s your chance to show it off. And if you can prove how fantastic you and your hair really are, you could be crowned Hair Icon and win an exclusive 24 hour taste of the celebrity lifestyle.

In celebration of everything fun about being blonde, brunette, red or raven-haired - Heat magazine and Schwarzkopf Live Color XXL are teaming up to search for Britain’s top Hair Icon of 2008! And she could very well be from Bristol. On Saturday 12th July, the Heat magazine hair scouts will be holding auditions in Bristol, so head to College Green at the bottom of Park Street between 12 and 2 p.m. for your chance to win that celebrity lifestyle.

To be in a chance of winning, you simply need to come down and prove you’ve not only got the hair, but also the personality to be crowned a Hair Icon. Get set to strike your best model pose; tell us a joke, good or bad; and demonstrate that you’ve got tons of confidence. You must be at least 18 years of age to enter and there will be five categories of colour: blonde, brunette, black, red and eccentric, (no pink or greens though sorry Lily Allen) – with a finalist selected from each group.
