Karine Jackson shortlisted for London Hairdresser of the Year Current London Hairdresser of the year Karine Jackson has been announced as a finalist in the hotly contested London category of the British Hairdressing Awards for the second consecutive year. Karine, a former Charles Worthington stylist, is a renowned colourist and holds the prestigious L’Oreal Colour Specialist Degree, putting her in the top 1% of L’Oreal colourists in the UK.

However, the range of organic colour that she uses as an alternative to the usual big-brand ranges at her stunning Covent Garden salon have proved incredibly popular, with nearly 90% of clients switching over.

The London category of the awards is widely acknowledged as the toughest to finalise in, thanks to the proliferation of first class salons in the region. Karine, who set up her own salon, Karine Jackson Hair & Beauty, 2 doors away from the Ivy on Litchfield Street in 2003, is thrilled to be shortlisted again. Her stunning collection comprises both cut and colour – both of which she excels at.

The salon is holding a fabulous Colour Festival throughout August (please get in touch if you’d like a press release on this), and all clients will get a balloon to pop with a prize inside, ranging from complimentary cuts and colour to treatments, products and discounts.

The British Hairdressing Awards are announced at a glittering ceremony on November 24.

Karine Jackson Hair & Beauty is at 24 Litchfield Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9NJ.
