Rae Palmer shortlisted for top 3 national hairdressing awards

Rae Palmer is proud to announce that her South Coast salon has been shortlisted for HAIR Magazine’s prestigious consumer Awards for the third consecutive year - while Rae herself is a finalist in the British Hairdressing Business Awards (Innovation category) and the UK’s most coveted hair competition – the British Hairdressing Awards – for Southern Hairdresser of the Year. Rae Palmer Hairdressing has been named as one of the UK’s top 4 salons, and will compete in the Best Local Salon category at the HAIR awards on September 23.

The accolades will come as no surprise to Rae’s clients, who know her for her inspirational style, fabulous colour work and sunny disposition. The stunning £250,000 salon is every inch the premier salon for Hampshire, with the luxurious salon environment complemented by a friendly and professional service.

Rae is the UK Creative Director for La Biosthetique and a Schwarzkopf Ambassador; she’s also currently studying trichology at the renowned institute and is introducing a dedicated Hair Therapy Room – a UK first – where clients can have the health benefits of a hair and scalp treatment in the luxury of a beauty environment.

Her stunning collection of 8 photographs for the British Hairdressing Awards has earned her a place in the Southern category alongside 5 others – dubbed “the Oscars of the hairdressing world” they take place on November 24 at Grosvenor House Hotel, London. In addition to Rae’s creative skills, she is well known for her business skills – the BHBA nomination is her third, and this year sees her shortlisted for her innovative Schwarzkopf HABB Graduate competition.

Presented by Hairdressers Journal International, the Awards are now in their ninth year and are designed to specifically reward excellence and exceptional business practice. Hosted by a leading TV personality, the BHBAs will be held in London on September 8.
