Mandarin Oriental salon introduces organic hair colouring

The world-renowned Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong is now using UK company Herb UK’s Organic Colour Systems and hair products in their hair salon.

“The Mandarin Salon is one of the few places in Hong Kong that offers specialist hair care for all hair types. It is therefore important that we offer the best and most effective products and we are excited by the introduction of the Organic Colour Systems range,” says Spa Director Lynsey Hughes.

The range, which uses naturally derived ingredients that are kind and nurturing to the hair, will be stocked alongside Philip Kingsley products at The Mandarin Salon, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy an eco friendly, luxury hair service.

Organic Colour Systems features natural extracts, including aloe vera, comfrey, orange and grapefruit, and doesn’t contain ammonia, allowing the hair to retain its natural moisture and protein balance. Because of its natural base, it closes the cuticle down when shampooing and applying conditioner giving it a natural feel and shine – and giving a longer lasting finish than other colours. Where natural ingredients cannot match the effectiveness of chemical alternatives, manufacturer Herb UK utilises precise minimum quantities of only the finest grade chemical additives.
