Stylish Sambuca From Puccini

Puccini Crystal Sambuca has won consecutive Gold Medals at the International Wine & Spirits Competition since 2003, as well as Best In Class for the last 2 years. New for 2007 are the Puccini Graphite Sambuca and Puccini Limonino Lemon Liqueur.

Puccini Graphite is a dark and stylish Sambuca, whilst Puccini Limonino Liqueur is a traditional infusion of the finest naturally grown Verdello lemons and spirits.

Puccini Graphite is a delicious variant of the multi-award winning Puccini Crystal Sambuca, made by Toorank Distilleries in Holland. Dark and stylish in appearance, Puccini Graphite combines the proven velvety anise and liquorice base of Puccini Crystal with hints of lavender, lemon balm and cardamon. The result is an incredibly smooth 38% abv sambuca, with the added flavours giving the product a wider appeal over Puccini Crystal.

Puccini have placed immense effort on ensuring the product and packaging is aesthetically just as pleasing as the sambuca inside the bottle. Featuring an ethereal and almost mystical hue - initially black, with tinges of dark green around the rim – Puccini Graphite develops a deep ruby colour when held into the light. The svelte bottle remains the same as that which was inspired by Salvatore Puccini’s wife in the 1940’s (see ‘notes’ below for more details of history). Whilst the more adventurous can try out our cocktail recipes, Graphite is best served chilled as a shooter, or as a digestif.

The second addition to the range is Puccini Limonino Lemon Liqueur. Well balanced with a long lasting and intense flavour, Limonino is a 27% abv liqueur which maintains a soft fruity taste with herbal hints. In an attempt to create the finest lemon liqueur, Puccini has selected only the finest naturally grown Verdello Lemons. According to traditional infusion methods, Limonino is only produced when the lemons are still young and fresh, and it takes at least 10 lemons to produce one bottle of Puccini Limonino. By using only the fragrant zest of these extremely fruity Verdello Lemons and the purest distillates available, Puccini Limonino is possibly the smoothest and most elegant lemon liqueur available.

Limonino is presented in the same eye-catching bottle as the rest of the range, which also allows the vibrant yellow colour to stand out. Serve as a shooter straight from the freezer, and experience the smooth and refreshing explosions of lemons. Alternatively, Limonino provides a perfect after-dinner drink: as bracing as a gin and tonic but more cheerful and fragrant.
