Warming drinks for the chilly season Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Bar & Café, OXO Tower Bar and Prism Bar have created a collection of ‘Winter Warmer’ cocktails for customers to enjoy throughout the icy months, until spring 2008.

Showcasing an indulgent combination of festive ingredients; such as crumbles, spices, ginger sorbet, cream, fruits and spirits, the recipes have been developed especially for the London venues by their resident Bar Managers. See recipes below for a taster of our Winter Warmer drinks menu.

At the Fifth Floor Café, both alcoholic cocktails and indulgent chocolate or coffee warmers can be enjoyed on the heated outdoor terrace under warming blankets.

OXO TOWER BAR, Southbank - cocktails created by Ian Goodman

HOT RHUBARB CRUMBLE (£8.00)
Bombay Sapphire gin, Cherry Heering, lemon juice, sugar and Harvey Nichols rhubarb preserve. Served hot with a Biscotti crumb rim

OXO BLAZER RELOADED (£8.00)
Martell VS cognac, Antilles spiced sugar, with hints of Cartron Crème de Vanil, orange and Angostura bitters. Heated and served in a large brandy glass and ignited on presentation

PRISM BAR, Leadenhall Street - cocktails created by Igor Beaulieu

FROSTED ORANGE (£10.00)
Belvedere Pomarancza, orange cloves, ginger sorbet, cream and Cointreau. Served cold in an old fashioned glass and garnished with a slice of orange zest and ginger

REMY EGG NOG (£11.00)
A warming tipple of Remy Martin VSOP, Amaretto, Cherry Marnier, egg yolk and cinnamon mixed together with warm milk. Served in a cognac glass and garnished with chocolate sprinkles

APPLE STRUDEL MARTINI (£10.95)
Apple and cinnamon Schnapps, white and dark Cream de Cacao with apple juice, a splash of double cream and cinnamon dust

NUTTY IRISHMAN (£10.95)
A hot serving of Jameson Irish whisky, brown sugar, cream and Frangelico

CINNAMON TOAST (£8.95)
A muddling of warm Luscombe Farm organic apple cider and cinnamon schnapps, served with a shot of vodka

VALRHONA CHOCOLATE INDULGENCE (£4.75)
Velvety hot chocolate made with pure Valrhona dark chocolate, topped with whipped cream and served with a butter shortbread biscuit

TEAPIGS CHAI TEA (£3.75)
Assam tea with cardamom pods, cinnamon, ginger and cassia
