A marriage of Britain’s first shopping arcade with the most quintessential English pastime! Luponde’s first independent establishment in the UK will sell an array of loose leaf teas sourced from their prestigious tea estate in Tanzania. The Luponde estate is one of the oldest organic tea estates in the world and has been certified Fairtrade since 1994. Its altitude of 7,000 ft provides ideal weather conditions, allowing the leaves to grow slowly producing a full flavoured taste.

Tamsin Lafferty, owner of Luponde Tea says: “It is a pleasure to launch Luponde Tea in one of London’s most beautiful landmarks. I look forward to welcoming people with a selection of tea parties and tastings. I’ve long been fascinated by the health benefits of tea and am delighted to be able to share my tips with Arcade customers.”

The assortment of teas, presented in stylish black tins, include black tea, green tea and white tea which are known for their anti-oxidant properties, as well as refreshing camomile and peppermint. With its sleek interior, Luponde Tea is a vibrant and contemporary addition to Burlington Arcade. Situated at the Piccadilly end, the shop gives visitors and shoppers the chance to pick up a refreshing treat in Britain’s oldest shopping Arcade.
