New ski properties in French Alps on schedule for completion

Leading French developer MGM is building five Savoyard-style chalets comprising a total of 80 two-bedroom apartments in a wooded corner of the Paradis skiing area which boasts 420 km of slopes surrounded by stunning scenery.
“The nearby Bellecote glacier at an altitude of 3,000 metres helps to ensure snow throughout a long ski season, generally from December to May,” says MGM’s UK sales manager, James Rodwell.
MGM’s development, Les Alpages de Champagny - literally ‘the upland meadows of Champagny’ - will be a four-start residence de tourisme with facilities which include an indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi as well as steam and fitness rooms.
Located at the heart of the Vanoise National Park, Champagny is little-known by British skiers but ideally suited to family holidays. In addition to a ski school it has a variety of shops and restaurants.
Les Alpages de Champagny is one hour by car from the airport at Chambery and two hours from Lyon airport.
Prices of the properties, which are available only under the Leaseback scheme, start at €275,000 for a two-bedroom apartment with a floor area of 50 sq metres.
