Plymouth negotiator wins Barratt regional award Davinia Rumble (25), on-site sales negotiator at the stunning Lunar Rise development in Plymouth, has won Barratt Homes’ Sales Negotiator of the Year Award for the Exeter Region. Caroline Hill, Barratt Homes’ sales director, said: “Davinia received the award because of her excellent customer service. She consistently achieves high standards and we are very proud of her.”

Davinia received a £1,000 prize and was delighted with her award. “It’s great to be nominated and to win,” she said. “I’m based at one of Barratt Homes’ flagship sites and we’ve had a very good year – we’ve sold nearly all the apartments at Lunar Rise and we’ve had lots of positive comments from customers.

“I joined Barratt Homes in March 2006 and I really love my job,” she continued. “I work with a successful team – the site manager and two other negotiators, Carol and Colleen. We were nominated Development Team of the Quarter in the first quarter of 2006/7.”

Davinia has recently moved – to a house previously owned by a Barratt Homes buyer - and will use her winnings to buy a brand new Plasma TV set.

Lunar Rise is a secure gated development located close to the pretty cobbled streets of the Barbican, the old town of Plymouth. Many of the apartments offer views of The Sound and Plymouth Hoe, where Sir Francis Drake is reputed to have played bowls before defeating the Spanish Armada.

The development boasts an excellent city centre location and is close to the university and hospitals.

Barratt Homes’ part exchange scheme which offers a hassle-free way to secure a perfect home is available on selected plots at Lunar Rise. The homebuilder also offers first time buyer initiatives with help towards the deposit, to give new purchasers a helping hand on to the ladder.
