Landscaped gardens make new homes a peaceful haven

Landscaped gardens make new homes a peaceful haven A beautifully landscaped Victorian walled garden provides a tranquil and unusual setting for a new apartments development. Redrow’s Treverbyn development in Plympton is surrounded by a newly designed garden, enclosed by a stone wall and Victorian gates, creating the perfect communal space for residents to enjoy the outdoor life.

Hannah Newnes, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South West), said: “At Treverbyn we have worked hard to create a peaceful outdoor area where homebuyers can relax or indulge in an al fresco dining.

“The landscapers have worked within the Victorian walls to create a garden that can be enjoyed for many years to come, with an interested combination of newly planted semi-mature trees, shrubbery, turfed areas and laurel hedgerows.”

The two-bedroom apartments at Treverbyn have proved popular with a range of different homebuyers including downsizers moving from a larger house in search of a property that is low maintenance and secure.

Redrow is currently offering to pay £500 towards the cost of your mortgage every month for a year, as well as a range of other incentives tailored to your needs, making these stylish apartments even more tempting.

The properties all enjoy an open-plan living/dining room and kitchen – perfect for entertaining, and the height of contemporary but practical living. Many also have en-suite to master bedroom and some have walk-out balconies.

Kitchens are fully fitted with integrated appliances, including stainless steel Smeg oven and hob, plus fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Properties all come with a designated parking space and the safety benefits of a door entry system. There are lifts in two of the three apartment buildings that make up the development.

The apartments are set in the idyllic surrounds of Plympton close to the Devonshire countryside. The town itself is a haven for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts, with a wealth of biking and walking trails available at the nearby Cann woods, and two golf courses within four miles from the development. Dartmoor National Park is also nearby making Treverbyn the ideal base for people looking to explore the surrounding countryside.

Plympton has all the features of a typical country town with a post office, shopping centre, restaurants and plenty of traditional public houses.

With the vibrant city of Plymouth only five miles away, people choosing to live at Treverbyn will never need to travel far for anything they may need. Plymouth boasts excellent road links with the A38, A386 and the A374 leading to Exeter, Barnstaple and the M5. The development is also close to a regular bus route for Plymouth City Centre, where connections for the surrounding towns and villages can be made. And for those with further flung destinations in mind, Plymouth Airport is around twenty minutes drive from your new home.

There’s currently a choice of two-bedroom apartments available, with prices from £173,995 to £191,995.
