Barratt supports UK Fastnet

Britain's best-known house builder is once again supporting Plymouth's sailing community by becoming title sponsor of the UK Fastnet 6.50 race. Barratt has been investing in Plymouth and the south west region for many years and is committed to the regeneration and development of this vibrant maritime city. The UK Fastnet 6.50 is a premier event which attracts many people to the region, cementing Plymouth's position as one of the UK's top waterfront locations.

The following year presented the opportunity for further investment in Plymouth's rich sailing culture when Barratt became title sponsor for the 2005 J80 National Championships. The event was a tremendous success with boats competing from around the world in preparation for the forthcoming world championships. Barratt's support of the J80's continued until 2007 with annual sponsorship of the Plymouth fleet and the J80 Autumn Cup.
