Up, up and away at Barratt's Broome Park Amanda Page will be whooshing up into the sky after winning a hot air balloon flight at a recent garden party at Barratt's Broome Park development in Okehampton. The development welcomed lots of visitors to the event, which was to celebrate the success of the development, and everyone had the chance to enter into a prize draw to win a Champagne adventure hot air balloon ride for two people.

"The garden party was a great success," said Mary Daymond, Barratt sales manager, "It was a glorious sunny evening and we hosted residents and future purchasers as well as those who wanted to have a look around the site.

"We had lots of entries into our competition and the winning ticket was chosen by Barratt's managing director Tim Larner. We're delighted that Amanda Page, who happens to have just moved into the development, won!"

Amanda, her partner Andrew and two sons moved into a four bedroom Thornton at Broome Park at the end of June and are delighted with their new home. Amanda said that the family had fallen in love with the showhome at the development.

"We chose the plot we wanted and put a deposit down in March and we moved in two months later, it has all worked out really well," she said.

"I'm very excited about the balloon ride and I'll be taking Andrew with me, he is a keen photographer and the views should be amazing."

Broome Park is Barratt's only development in the historic market town of Okehampton. This development of 93 two, three and four bedroom homes is well located on the outskirts of the town.

Current availability at Broome Park development includes the three bedroom Norbury townhouse at £206,950, the Jedborough three bedroom detached home at £213,000 and four bedroom detached homes are also for sale at the development, starting from £311,000.
