Help onto the property ladder at Boniface Rise

29th September 2008 Print
Help onto the property ladder at Boniface Rise To help first time buyers get on the property ladder, Midas Homes has teamed up with Swaythling Housing Society to offer the government-funded scheme ‘My Choice HomeBuy' at its Boniface Rise development in Crediton.

My Choice HomeBuy is available to first time buyers, and others who need assistance moving, with a combined income of less than £60,000 per year. Customers will receive a loan of 15-50% of the purchase price of their chosen Midas home, paying back just 1.75% interest per year. And, no deposit is necessary!

Andy Addison, Midas Homes' Sales and Marketing Director said: "This scheme is going to really help those people who thought a brand new home was out of their reach. The great thing about buying a new home is that everything has already been done for you; there's no need to decorate or modernise the kitchen and bathroom - the home is ready for you to move straight into."

Tim Willcocks from Swaythling Housing Society said: "It is a fantastic government-funded scheme designed to help first time buyers and others who will be able to redeem part of the equity loan at any time after one year of owning the home. We're really pleased to be working with Midas Homes on such an exciting project."

Boniface Rise offers a range of new two, three and four bedroom homes priced from £159,950. The development is situated a short walk from the train station and town centre, just seven miles from Exeter city centre, near beautiful countryside.

Andy added: "With My Choice HomeBuy, you could buy a two bedroom coach house at Boniface Rise and only need an initial mortgage of £79,975!"
