A vision of space and style over three floors

A vision of space and style over three floors Families in search of a spacious home with room to spare need look no further than the three-storey townhouses at Redrow's Vision development in Devonport. Laid out over three floors the contemporary four-bedroom ‘Hamoaze' housetype gives homebuyers a plethora of flexible living space options.

Hannah Newnes, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South West), said: "Three-storey homes offer families and other homebuyers the opportunity to choose how they use the extra space in their property.

"The ‘Hamoaze' house type has a flexible layout so it can be adapted to suit varying modern lifestyles and practical needs. It has an open-plan kitchen and dining area and roomy lounge on the ground floor with a further living room and master bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the storey above. The top floor is home to three further good-sized bedrooms and a family bathroom.

"The upstairs lounge could be used to give teenagers and older children their own space and independence, or as a place where parents can relax and unwind - both of which can be difficult in the traditional two-storey home. And rooms not used as bedrooms could double as a home office, gym, playroom or hobbies room."

The Hamoaze is named after the estuary which flows past the Devonport Dockyard. Each house type at Vision takes its name from a different stretch of water in Devon.

As well as the ‘Hamoaze house type, Redrow has a choice of one-bedroom apartments and other four-bedroom homes for sale on the site of the former South Yard stores enclave.

In total the award-winning housebuilder is building more than 460 new, one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom homes, alongside a range of employment, retail and mixed-use development, which will completely regenerate the heart of Devonport with an entire new community.

The designs of the properties at Vision will accentuate and complement the proportions and broad character of surrounding architectural heritage and will help to create a diverse and interesting environment with a perfect balance between traditional and contemporary styles.

Redrow's redevelopment of the site includes refurbishment of the grade II listed Market Hall and clock tower, which Redrow will ensure is brought back into lively use, forming a link from Devonport's proud past to its new, exciting future.

The Hamoaze is priced from £199,995. Other homes currently available at Vision are a range of one-bedroom apartments and elegant four-bedroom townhouses, priced from £105,995 to £206,995.

As well as the amenities of Devonport the development is also close to the coastal city of Plymouth, surrounding coastal areas and Devonshire countryside. Plymouth offers a wide range of pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities, as well as schools, doctors and shops.
