My Choice HomeBuy proves a success at Boards To help first time buyers get on the property ladder, Midas Homes teamed up with Swaythling Housing Society to offer the government-funded scheme ‘My Choice HomeBuy' at its Boards development in East-the-Water, Bideford.

Andy Addison, Midas Homes' Sales and Marketing Director said: "The scheme has been a huge success At Boards with nine applications already submitted. It's going to really help those people who thought a brand new home was out of their reach."

My Choice HomeBuy is available to first time buyers, and others who need assistance moving, with a combined income of less than £60,000 per year. Customers will receive a loan of 15-50% of the purchase price of their chosen Midas home, paying back just 1.75% interest per year. And, no deposit is necessary!

Tim Willcocks from Swaythling Housing Society said: "We're really pleased to be working with Midas Homes on such an exciting project."

Boards offers a range of new three bedroom homes priced from £155,000. The properties have been thoughtfully designed to compliment the character of the town and have been built to a high specification.

Andy added: "With My Choice HomeBuy, you could buy a three bedroom house at Boards and only need an initial mortgage of £77,500.

"And the great thing about buying a new home is that everything has already been done for you; there's no need to decorate or modernise the kitchen and bathroom - the home is ready for you to move straight into."
