Glamour and comfort in Newton Abbot Putting customers first is imperative for Redrow and one of the main reasons the award winning housebuilder has invested in a brand new specification for its homes at Orleigh Cross, in Newton Abbot.

The beautiful new designs, which include more family friendly layouts, fabulous new contemporary kitchens and sleek bathroom suites, will be showcased at the development in the form of two stylish show homes, launching on Saturday / Sunday, May 2 / 3.

Customers have already been impressed by the new specification, with eight homes selling in the first couple of weeks since the development’s launch, even before the show home has opened its doors.

Hannah Newnes, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South West), said: “Meeting the needs of 21st century homebuyers is top of our agenda right now. In a challenging housing market we recognise the importance of putting ourselves ahead of the competition and we believe our new specification homes at Orleigh Cross do just that.

“We have invested a huge amount of time, money and effort in getting the new designs just right and adding real value to our homes. Our new kitchens feature state-of-the art integrated appliances and modern floor to ceiling banks of units, which are inspired by the latest Italian designs.

“In the new show homes at Orleigh Cross our white kitchen units are right on trend and we have combined this with contrasting wood units and granite work surfaces. We have also included terrace doors which open concertina style to flood the kitchen and dining area with light, bringing the ‘outside in’ and taking the ‘inside out’.

“The list of new features is extensive and we believe they make a real difference to our customers’ lifestyles. We’ve also updated the layouts of our homes to suit the demands of modern life.”

At Orleigh Cross, Redrow has designed two stunning show homes, which not only show off the new specification, but also the light and spacious nature of the new homes. Both are perfect for growing families, with open plan, multi-purpose family rooms alongside quieter, more relaxing spaces; a theme which is reflected by the interior design.

Hannah added: “The three-bedroom Dunmore design has been transformed into a tranquil and relaxing home with neutral accents of blue, olive green, limes and brown. The use of modern artwork and contemporary furniture gives the scheme added impact. The lounge area includes a sophisticated black sofa, walnut furniture and dramatic long pencil-pleat curtains. The master bedroom is a continuation of the natural theme, with olive green accents in the sumptuous soft-furnishings, striped cushions and feature wall.

“Our four-bedroom Gorsley show home has a more traditional feel and the already fantastic specification has been upgraded even further. Using accents of reds, creams and browns against a neutral background, our team has created a warm ‘homely’ environment. The lounge features rich oak furniture and the dining room has been themed for a grand dinner party, with a chrome six pendant light fitting illuminating the classic wood dining table with six chairs. The master bedroom makes a true statement with an impressive ivory double bed frame and bedside furniture, chrome light fittings and a warm inviting colour scheme.”

Less than a mile from Newton Abbot town centre, the development is set to provide homes for people on all rungs of the property ladder including families, young professionals, holiday home-owners and the early or active retired, who are looking to escape the hectic city life or indulge in a few of the many leisure activities that are available in the area.

The development has easy access to the M5 and is situated approximately a mile from Newton Abbot train station, which has regular direct services to Exeter and Torquay. Close by there is a good choice of primary and secondary schools, a leisure centre and museums, as well as a new hospital under construction, plus great commuter links.

The new show homes promote a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes, which are currently priced from £128,995 to £215,000.

To discover the new specification, visit Tiddy Brook Meadows over the launch weekend on Saturday / Sunday, May 2 / 3 and see, touch and experience the new Dunmore and Gorsley show homes. There is also a brand new marketing suite opening. For more information log on to Redrow.co.uk.
