HomeBuy Direct event at waterside development

27th April 2009 Print
HomeBuy Direct event at waterside development Midas Homes is holding a HomeBuy Direct event at its Phoenix Quay development in Plymouth on Friday 1st May, 11am to 3pm to help visitors find out more about the Government-backed scheme.

There are currently 16 apartments and townhouses, all with parking, available in the first phase of Phoenix Quay, including several which can be bought through HomeBuy Direct. This provides eligible applicants with up to 30% of the purchase price in the form of an equity loan which is interest free for the first five years and can be used to cover the deposit. Using HomeBuy Direct, a two bedroom apartment can be bought for as little as £101,456!

Wayne Bennett, Sales and Marketing Director of Midas Homes said: “Phoenix Quay has proved very popular already and we’re expecting the HomeBuy Direct event on Friday to be really busy – we have an independent financial advisor on hand to answer any questions, along with a HomeBuy Direct agent.”

Phoenix Quay offers an exciting range of new one, two and four bedroom properties priced from £99,950. The homes will be built to a high specification and will feature modern fixtures and fittings throughout. With stunning sea views over Plymouth Sound and just a 15 minute walk into the city centre with its many restaurants, bars and shops, the apartments will also benefit from a lift and secure undercroft parking.

The focal point of the scheme will be the shared garden space at the heart of the development. And using a palette of long lasting materials such as granite paving and introducing elegant contemporary street furniture will create a positive new setting for the development.

The development is part of a larger project to regenerate the Millbay area of Plymouth.
