“First-time buyers and key workers will be able to take advantage of our First-Time Buyer Initiative scheme, a joint venture with the Homes and Communities Agency,” Louise continued.

At Torre Marine, prices for new homes sold through this scheme start from as little as £124,000, making them highly accessible to people who thought it would be impossible to buy in today’s economic climate.

The scheme is a government backed initiative designed to help people get a foot on the property ladder. Eligible buyers can purchase 100 per cent of a new property for just 50 per cent of the total price, with the remainder being paid back after 10 years.
Now in the third phase of construction, Torre Marine offers a selection of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes. The development nestles in Newton Road, away from the tourist traps but only a 15-minute walk to the beach, marina and Torquay town centre. The railway station is also close by.
