A new wave of homes flows into vision

A new wave of homes flows into vision Redrow has just released a new phase of homes for sale at Vision @ Devonport. The new four-bedroom homes, all named after local rivers and waterways, are the latest addition to the development that is regenerating the former South Yard enclave in Plymouth.

Ideal for families in search of a spacious home, the ‘Torr’, ‘Sound’ and ‘Hamoaze’ style homes will be sold alongside one and two-bedroom apartments.

Laid out over three floors the contemporary townhouses give homebuyers a plethora of flexible living space options.

Hannah Newnes, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South West), said: “Three-storey homes offer families and other homebuyers the opportunity to choose how they use the extra space in their property.

“For example, the ‘Hamoaze’ house type has a flexible layout so it can be adapted to suit varying modern lifestyles and practical needs. It has an open-plan kitchen and dining area and roomy lounge on the ground floor with a further living room and master bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the storey above. The top floor is home to three further good-sized bedrooms and a family bathroom.

“The upstairs lounge could be used to give teenagers and older children their own space and independence, or as a place where parents can relax and unwind – both of which can be difficult in the traditional two-storey home. And rooms not used as bedrooms could double as a home office, gym, play room or hobbies room.”

In total the award-winning housebuilder is building more than 460 new, one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom homes, alongside a range of community facilities, shops and offices, which will completely regenerate the heart of Devonport with an entire new community.

The designs of the properties at Vision will accentuate and complement the proportions and broad character of surrounding architectural heritage and will help to create a diverse and interesting environment with a perfect balance between traditional and contemporary styles.

Redrow’s redevelopment of the site includes refurbishment of the grade II listed Market Hall and clock tower, which Redrow will ensure is brought back into lively use, forming a link from Devonport’s proud past to its new, exciting future.

The four-bedroom townhouses are priced from just £170,000. A range of one and two-bedroom apartments are also available priced from £118,000.

The city of Plymouth, surrounding coastal areas and Devonshire countryside offers a wide range of pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities, as well as schools, health care and shops.
