Final homes on sale at Broome Park in Okehampton

15th September 2009 Print
Barratt has almost completed work on one of its most popular developments in the region with the final two homes now available at Broome Park in Okehampton.

Sales manager Mary Daymond said the final two homes are semi detached Enfords which have three bedrooms and will be ready for occupation in October.

“Broome Park has proved a hugely popular development for us with the location a real winner for us and buyers loving the selection of homes built here,’’ she said.

The Enford design, which is priced at £184,950, offers three bedrooms with two doubles and a single.

On the ground floor is the spacious and airy lounge with French doors and the kitchen has contemporary units fitted together with a breakfasting area. The Enford also has a separate dining room.

For the remaining two homes Barratt is offering its part exchange option for a hassle free move up the housing ladder.

“We know that some people who want to move to a larger property may be put off by what they hear about the credit crunch and difficulties in finding a buyer but the part exchange scheme is designed to help get the home you want in a stress-free process,’’ said sales manager Mary Daymond.

The scheme removes all the uncertainty, because Barratt is a guaranteed cash buyer - so there is no chain, no last-minute price haggling and no hidden expense.

Broome Park is well located on the outskirts of the historic market town of Okehampton, close to the A30 and within easy commuting distance of Exeter.

Dartmoor National Park, just a short drive away, is renowned for its flora and fauna, ponies and summer folk festival. Its popular family attractions include Widecombe in the Moor and the Becky Falls woodland park.
