Long awaited Exeter city centre development to be launched

Knight Frank’s recent ‘Western region residential development review’ has identified Exeter as a property hotspot. Exeter has been sited as one of the fastest growing economic centres in the South West. This is largely due to the huge redevelopment of the city centre and the arrival of schemes such as Princesshay.
The next phase of Princesshay properties, located in Cannon House and Friary Court on Bedford Street, includes 23 stylish apartments designed by internationally acclaimed architect Panter Hudspith. The residences, which range from one and two bedroom apartments to a three bedroom split level penthouse, enjoy outdoor space in a number of different arrangements, including communal rooftop gardens, balconies and private terraces. One of the most appealing features of Cannon House and Friary Court are, however, the stunning views that many of the apartments enjoy of Exeter’s beautiful Cathedral.
The apartments' interiors are equally impressive. They incorporate a range of eco-friendly features and have been given a ‘very good’ rating in the new EcoHomes standards. Designed for contemporary city living, the apartments are finished to an impeccable standard, with Kaldewei and Barrhead bathroom fittings, Neff kitchen appliances and under floor heating systems.
The open day event will offer guests the opportunity to acquire a brochure, chat to sales advisors and make an appointment to view the stylish two bedroom show apartment in Cannon House on the day, or during the Bank Holiday weekend. The event will also reveal the impending release date for this next phase. The open day is by invitation only and prospective buyers are therefore encouraged to contact Knight Frank in advance to register their details and obtain an invitation.
Following the success of the phase one launch last year, when the entire phase of apartments on offer were sold within 30 minutes of going on sale, Land Securities is optimistic that Princesshay’s latest example of city centre living will prove just as popular:
Miles Kevin, partner at Knight Frank, selling agent for Princesshay, comments: “The number of enquiries we have already received reinforces how popular Exeter is becoming. People are increasingly seeking city living and the convenience, economic and social benefits that it brings. Following the immense success of phase one, we would recommend anyone who has an interest in the apartments to register their details with Knight Frank as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”
Land Securities’ Development Manager Graham Thompson adds: “We are very encouraged by the interest and excitement this next phase has generated, well in advance of their release”.
“The interest in the apartments is attributed, in part, to the properties’ unique location, at the heart of Princesshay’s fashionable Bedford Street area, with its choice of stylish shops and restaurants and close proximity to the historic Cathedral area. This special location, together with the apartment's high specification and stylish interiors, looks set to make Princesshay one of the region’s smartest new addresses.”
