Back to school
When Catherine Morris left Norton School in Letchworth in 1979 little did she know that she would be returning to work there one day…..as a Sales Consultant for Miller Homes! Catherine, who has worked for Miller Homes for three years, was delighted when she was told she would be based at the development at her former-school, which is currently being constructed.
“I have really fond memories of my time at the school, it had a real community feel to it as nearly all of the pupils were local,” explains Catherine. “Before the building was demolished my sales manager took me to see it and it was as if time had stood still. It was the first time I had been back there since I left in 1979, and it was a real trip down memory lane. It was amazing to be able to stand in my former classrooms and school hall – nothing had changed!”

Miller Homes hopes to open its on-site sales office in May. Catherine says: “I can’t wait to start working at the site, where I will initially be progressing sales off-plan until the showhome opens later in the year. I am sure that the development will attract plenty of ex-pupils and I am hoping that some of my old school friends might buy there or express some interest. We have already had lots of people calling and expressing an interest, so I know demand is going to be high for getting back to school.”
