Drawing your dream home - Miller at Priors Green

The youngsters – from reception class up to year 6 – put their creative flair and imagination to the test in the competition, which was entered by all pupils. The pupil with the best entry from each year was rewarded with a £25 Borders voucher and Miller also donated £500 to the school to say thank you for taking part.
Mandy Lane, head teacher at the school, commented: “Miller kindly donated some money to the school, which will be used to purchase tools and equipment for clay work. This will enable us to make far greater use of our kiln and further develop the children’s skills in this area.”
Steve Garton, area sales manager for Miller Homes, added: “Miller always likes to give something back to the community in which it is developing, and, with the Priors Green development on the edge of Takeley, Takeley Primary School was the perfect school to get involved with.
“Many of the purchasers at the development have children at the school and our donation to the school, and involvement with the children, has been a great way to interact with the community. We were really impressed with the standard of entry and it was a struggle to pick just one winner from each year.”
Miller is currently building a selection two, three and four bedroom homes at Priors Green, which is a beautifully landscaped new neighbourhood set in pleasant rural surroundings on the eastern edge of the village of Takeley. The development, which is surrounded by open space and, is well placed just four miles from the M11 which gives access to London and Cambridge.
The sales centre is open daily from 10am to 5pm. For further details visit Millerhomes.co.uk.
