A successful launch ate Vincent Place, Stevenage

15th April 2008 Print
Following its successful launch earlier last month, Intro Homes development Vincent Place in Stevenage has generated a lot of interest and a number of reservations.

Located on the southern end of the prestigious old town high street in Stevenage, Vincent Place is the transformation of the former B&Q site into a collection of 109 one and two bedroom apartments. The development has been named after Vincent HRD Motorcycles. In 1928, Philip Vincent bought the HRD Motorcycle Company, moved it to Stevenage and renamed it. He produced some of the UK’s most legendary motorcycles, including the Black Shadow and Black Lightening.

Stevenage Old Town has a combination of history and character with a buzzing and vibrant high street that boasts both contemporary and traditional shopping facilities, along with historic buildings, coaching inns, wine bars, pubs and restaurants.

Andrew Whyman, Director at selling agent’s Putterills, commented: “The launch weekend was very successful with an overwhelmingly positive response from potential purchasers. They were impressed with the specification as well as the location of the development being in the historic Old Town of Stevenage. The development has attracted a good mixture of purchasers from first-time buyers to downsizers.”

One and two bedroom apartments are available at Vincent Place as well as one and two bedroom duplexes, with the majority of the two bedroom apartments offering ensuite facilities to the master bedroom, making them ideal for sharers. Sizes range between 480 sq ft and an amazing 1080 sq ft and each apartment comes with its own parking space. Many residents will also benefit from balconies.

The modern interior specification is in keeping with the design of the building and purchasers will benefit from a choice of stylish kitchens complete with appliances including stainless steel ceramic electric hob, electric oven and washer/dryer as well as wall tiling and vinyl tile flooring. There is also the opportunity for purchasers to upgrade the kitchen into a full integrated one that would include fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

The development is situated just minutes from Stevenage Railway Station, offering easy routes into the Capital. A direct train to London King’s Cross station takes only 23 minutes.

Prices currently start from £169,995 with the first completions planned for late 2008/early 2009. To register your interest visit Introhomes.co.uk.
