Fusion Residential provides high-tech peace of mind

13th August 2008 Print
At Chenies Place on Barnet Road in Arkley, Herts, Fusion Residential has developed a range of innovative security features for the niche development of just six houses. Recent statistics published by Churchill Insurance UK homes are more likely to be burgled during the summer months as residents pack up on holiday, spend weekends away or days out with the family. With an average price tag of over £3,000 worth items stolen from each home, the latest security system is a necessity for any new home.

The integrated security features, fitted as standard, include an intruder alarm that utilizes the latest in remote police monitoring technology. The systems also feature a number of optional extras such as panic buttons as well as intruder and fire alarm alerts. Each of the physical components has been designed to fit seamlessly with the interior and exterior design of the homes, including stainless steel bell boxes and remote key pads.

Most burglars are opportunists. To combat this, Fusion Residential has installed state-of-the-art CCTV systems with cameras that cover both the front and rear entrances. The technology, which can integrate into the aerial of each property, provides homeowners with the ability to view the surveillance images from any of the home’s televisions. As an added bonus, the system also connects to an ADSL telephone line enabling residents to check on their home from anywhere in the world.

Communal entrances are notorious for being an easy target for would-be thieves however at Chenies Place, Fusion Residential has put a great deal of thought into developing a secure, gated community. Each of the individual properties benefits from an audio/visual entry system and monitors, which allow for a two-way conversation with the main electronic gate. Homeowners are provided with infrared key fobs to operate the gates, and mobile phones can also be synchronised with the system to allow access.

Gavyn Fresco, Sales Director of Fusion Residential comments: “Security and peace of mind are paramount for purchasers, and this has been the driving force behind these unique systems. Amthal Security has designed these tailor-made security features to guarantee the safety of homeowners at Chenies Place. Purchasers are taken through the system step-by-step by one of our dedicated Client Care team to ensure customer satisfaction.”

Designed over three floors, the five/six bedroom properties are generous in size, each providing over 3,000sqft of living accommodation. All the homes feature a sizeable living room, sauna, gym, study and electronically operated double garage. Kitchens are designed to a high specification with granite work surfaces and a full range of Miele appliances including a coffee maker and wine cooler.
