Consort Homes chooses ‘Uber’ for major impact
Following a four way pitch, one of the North’s premier house builders, Consort Homes, has appointed Sheffield’s Uber to front its brave new re-brand and create a long term strategy for all its marketing.Talking about the pending campaign, said to be worth approx £2million, Darren Stubbs - Chairman of Consort - said “This was a big step for us and the first time we have undertaken such a large scale brand review. We chose Uber because we wanted to take a more edgy approach to our positioning. This is such a competitive market and so many home builders market themselves in the same, conventional way. Uber demonstrated the type of passion, understanding and personality we needed to provide us with a genuinely fresh approach.”
Uber has already undertaken the first stage of the re-brand and after very positive feedback from research the green light has been given to roll out the brand across all Consort’s current and future projects. The new positioning, look and feel has already been presented to the staff at Consort and the team are now ready to roll out the new approach across all new sites in the group.
Darren concluded, “This is an important year for Consort Homes and we wanted to start it with a really fresh feel to our brand.”
Talking about the win, Uber’s Creative Director Greg Clark said: “Consort’s steadfast determination to fulfil their objectives and make a difference in the homes market is not only refreshing and impressive, but has been inspirational to the work we have done thus far.”
