Buyers - Worried? About what?
The problems facing homeowners have been well documented in the national press throughout the year with the constant hikes in mortgage rates and the recent announcement that Barratt Developments have reported a loss of 10 per cent due to a lack of ‘confidence’ in buyers. So what is the house building sector doing to restore faith in the market when trepidation is the general mindset?Charles Church has a number of incentives it is offering potential clients in light of the current state of the market, which it hopes will show that buyers do not have to face all the stresses and strains of moving house alone.
Two of the most established incentives are the part exchange scheme and the mortgage subsidy offer, both designed to give buyers more confidence in the present market.
The part exchange offer involves the Charles Church sales executive arranging for two independent estate agents to value your property, in Scotland the scheme has been adjusted further so that 105 per cent part exchange is available.
If the valuation falls within the requirements, your new property will be reserved for you. If Charles Church then manages to sell your home, you will also be able to stay in your current property until your new one is ready. This incentive is available on selected developments and plots.
The mortgage subsidy offer is a brand new proposal for potential buyers to consider, meaning that they can avoid facing hefty repayments. Charles Church will subsidize client’s monthly mortgage payments with £500 per month over 24 months allowing for more financial security
But these offers are really just the tip of the iceberg. Charles Church is eager for its potential customers to realise that as a house builder they are willing to hold their clients hands to help them achieve their ambitions with as little stress as possible.
Other incentives in Scotland, which are available on selected developments and are aimed at the first time buyers market, is the Charles Church Aspirations mortgage, which is a new and innovative way of funding your house purchase. For more choice on incentives we will also offer stamp duty paid or upgraded kitchens (subject to the construction programme), or carpets throughout, or turf to the rear garden, we know different people are looking for different things and that is why we try to accommodate them if we can.
It’s an important part of the business for Charles Church and each of its ten regions throughout the UK are managed with this in mind. Regular meetings are held to discuss how to better the current service to benefit customers.
So if entering the property market or making moves within it is something you are avoiding, take faith in the fact that a service to help you is out there.
