Trio of projects to create new homes worth £156m

The award-winning housebuilder will create more than 550 new homes across the trio of ventures at Bournemouth in Dorset, Lymington in Hampshire, and Downton in Wiltshire.
In Bournemouth, Redrow is creating an impressive new apartments scheme in the town centre within walking distance of the beach, which will have a finished value of £56m.
Cutting edge design, using clean simple lines, will deliver a contemporary look for the 202 apartments. Complete with brightly-coloured seafront styling, balconies and grass roof tops, the homes will also benefit from the new commercial space being created on ground-level for retail, café and restaurant use. Below ground, residents parking and 150 short-stay public car parking spaces will be provided and outside communal areas will also be created for al fresco dining.
Sales will hopefully launch in the summer and the first residents should move in by the end of next year.
Lymington is the sought-after location for a new Redrow development, made up of 308 stylish one and two-bedroom apartments and penthouses, including 55 shared-ownership properties, 10 live-work units, 38 affordable rented units, and units for use as a restaurant and retail outlets.
Once complete the venture will be valued in the region of £80m. Situated in a prime position with many apartments having water views over the Lymington River, the homes are due to go on sale in the summer.
As well as plentiful underground parking facilities, residents will be able to enjoy the town's lively café culture and great selection of shops all within easy walking distance of the new development.
In Downton, Wiltshire, Redrow is creating a new development of 50 ‘greener' homes. The picturesque site off Wick Lane, previously used for grazing, was purchased from the Trustees of the Longford Estate.
The developer is proposing to build 33 new four and five-bedroom homes for open market sale in addition to 17 affordable properties on the site, which will all achieve level three of the Code for Sustainable Homes - two years ahead of targets set by the Government.
The development, named The Glades, will have a completed value of approximately £20m.
Barry Stiles, sales director for Basingstoke-based Redrow Homes (Southern), said: "We are delighted to be offering homebuyers in the South of England such a variety of fabulous homes in highly desirable settings and, in doing so, extending our own impressive portfolio in the region.
"The three schemes we have in these three towns will appeal to a wide-variety of purchasers, who are looking for a stylish new home in a prime location. Our focus, as always, will be on creating high-quality homes built for 21st century living."
Redrow's properties in the South of England are among 5,000 new homes built each year across England, Scotland and Wales. To register your interest in any of the developments log on to Redrow.co.uk, where you can find details of all Redrow ventures.
