Home buyers do it on a Thursday lunch time

Home buyers do it on a Thursday lunch time It would appear that more and more of us are turning towards the internet to search for our new home. Bellway claim that they receive more hits on their website on a Thursday than any other day of the week. The site is most active between 9 am and 12 noon accounting for almost 70% of all traffic during the day, with 24% of visitors searching at noon.

Sales and Marketing Director, Derek Blank, at Bellway North West, said: “More and more people will start their search for a new home on-line. The internet is becoming the medium of choice when searching for a new home, particularly if you are moving to a new area. As our lives get busier and more of us gain access to the internet, it’s not surprising that lunch time is a good time to go house-hunting. Those browsing the web can forward details to their partners for discussion in the evening or arrange a visit to the development on the spot.

“As we approach the Christmas period and particularly over Christmas we expect the volume of traffic to increase as people will have more time to search the web and make appointments to view properties. Our show homes are open later on a Thursday and of course there are some fabulous deals on Bellway homes at the moment which won’t last for ever,” concluded Derek.

Bellway North West division has 27 sites across Liverpool, Merseyside, Cheshire and Greater Manchester.
