An example of the popular ‘Davenport’ housetype Brand new homes at the Turners development near Northampton have proved so popular with customers with that leading housebuilder George Wimpey is now offering househunters a second chance to buy.

The high-quality homes at Turners were snapped up so fast that many would-be purchasers missed out on a chance to live at the development, ideally located on the southern outskirts of Northampton.

But now George Wimpey East Midlands is offering people a new opportunity by unveiling a stunning selection of properties on phase 2 at it’s Turners development.

The leading developer is currently offering homebuyers the opportunity to purchase the three-storey three-bedroom ‘Davenport’ design, starting from £214,995, and the luxury three-storey, four-bedroom ‘Duvall’, priced from £229,995.

The contemporary ‘Davenport’ is the ideal home for people of all ages, comprising a large square combined living room/dining room with French doors to the rear garden, allowing in plenty of natural light, a thoughtfully-designed kitchen, a separate entrance hallway and a guest cloakroom.

Upstairs, the landing leads to two generously-proportioned bedrooms and the family bathroom.

On the top floor, the master bedroom offers extensive accommodation comprising the large bedroom, adjoining dressing area and spacious en-suite shower room. Deep Velux windows give the rooms a bright and airy feel.

In common with all new homes at Turners 2, the ‘Davenport’ enjoys a high standard specification including gas central heating, double glazing and fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.

The development is set between the villages of Hardingstone and Wootton which, between them, offer a good choice of local facilities including a general store, medical centre, pharmacy, public houses and two primary schools. A large superstore is just a short drive away.

A wider choice of shopping, leisure and employment opportunities can be found just two miles away in Northampton town centre.

Commuters will appreciate the excellent road and public transport links, with the M1 and major trunk roads all less than four miles away. The town’s railway station is on the main Euston-Glasgow line, with the regular express service taking less than an hour to London.

George Wimpey’s easymover programme provides a range of special incentives on selected properties for first-time buyers, while customers with a house to sell can reserve their new home and then sit back and relax while the housebuilder finds a buyer for their current property - guaranteeing 100% of the market value – and pays the estate agents’ fees.

Homebuyers can also take advantage of George Wimpey’s House 2 Home bespoke moving package comprising free UK removal regardless of distance or size of property, full packing and unpacking service and insurance cover.

Further information is currently available by visiting George Wimpey’s nearby Mawsley Village development, located by following signs from the A43 south-west of Kettering, and open seven days a week from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
