With some gardens measuring nearly 80ft long at The Grange development in Desborough, Barratt are keen to highlight this impressive feature. The development off the B576 Harborough Road has already attracted positive feedback from buyers for the spacious and well laid-out plots.

And now summer is here, the housebuilder is promoting a range of housetypes that offer generously sized gardens – perfect for green fingered buyers and those who like lazy days in the sun with a barbeque.

Plot 107, a four bedroom Thorndale, sits next to a five bedroom Chillingham style, and boasts a rear garden dimension of 79ft long x 38ft wide.

This impressive area offers room for all the family. Children have plenty of space to play, adults can set-aside attractive planting in borders or even a vegetable patch, and there is still room for a patio and alfresco dining.

Jenny Andrew, sales negotiator, said: “Buyers are appreciating more and more how a garden can be used as an extension of their living space. So to have an area nearly 80ft long adds considerable space to their home.”

Another property available is plot 113 - a four bedroom Harrowdale style, priced at £329,900. This has a good sized square shaped garden, measuring 51ft long x 52ft wide.

Because of the size, it offers many possibilities to the homeowner, and also has a ‘secret’ garden area to the side – an ideal tranquil spot to relax with a drink.

Plot 107 is priced at £289,400 and comes with carpets, curtains, light fittings and wardrobes to the dressing room of bedroom one. Plot 108, the Chillingham, is priced at £276,400.

Other properties on release include three and four bedroom homes, starting at £167,650.

The development is open daily from 11.00am to 6.00pm.
