Persimmon back Saints for new season

Persimmon Homes Midlands will be continuing its sponsorship of local rugby club, the Northampton Saints for the 2007/8 season. The Northampton based home builder’s name has been emblazoned on players shirts since October 2003, with Persimmon’s group chief executive, John White a keen supporter of the Saints and regular spectator at home matches.

Speaking about Persimmon’s continuing commitment to the club, Allan Robson, chief executive for the Northampton Saints commented:

“We are delighted to see Persimmon Homes’ unwavering dedication to the club despite our recent relegation. Persimmon’s commitment to the Saints over the past few years has been fantastic both on a corporate and personal level, with members of the company regularly present at home games and we hope their support will spur us on to success this season.”
