First time buyers make quick and ‘easymove’

Peter Mason and Clare Meaton didn’t believe they could sell their three-bedroom semi in Rushden before Christmas. “The market has slowed and we weren’t having any luck finding a buyer,” says Peter (27). But thanks to Laing Homes’ Easymover Secure programme, the couple enjoyed their first Christmas in their brand new home at The Croft in Corby.

“They instructed three valuations of our old house, and although the average of these valuations was £4,000 lower than the price we had originally put it on the market for, this was made up for by Laing paying the moving costs and legal fees.

“In addition, we moved in to our new four-bedroom ‘Stewart’ housetype just four-and-a-half weeks after we’d reserved it. Our old house is still waiting for a buyer – but that’s not for us to worry about any more!”
