Leading developer to create new homes in Stanion
Award-winning developer, Gladedale (Home Counties) is creating a new community in Northamptonshire as construction gets underway on a multi-million pound residential development in Stanion. As part of a consortium with three other housebuilders, Gladedale will be helping to create a new community to be known as Harpers Brook which will be part of the larger Little Stanion Farm development.
Launching on the 12th of April 2008, Harpers Brook is a contemporary mix of 253 houses and apartments with a range of properties available, including one and two bedroom apartments plus two, three and four bedroom houses.
Named Harpers Brook after the stream that runs adjacent to the development, the development sits nestled within a lush green environment that borders the Rockingham Forest, which was once a medieval hunting forest.
In a bid to maintain the rural environment surrounding the development, plans are in place to remove the overhead power lines and pylons which current run through the proposed development.
The cables will be sunk into the ground allowing the removal of the pylons so that new residents can enjoy uninterrupted views.
There are also plans for a new primary school which will cater for the influx of new families within the Little Stanion Farm development.
Vicki Noon, sales and marketing director for Gladedale Home Counties, said:
“We are looking forward to be moving on site at Stanion and creating a brand new community at Harpers Brook within Little Stanion Farm. A variety of developers will be building in the area and Gladedale is proud to be part of this prestigious project.
“We are committed to the project in Stanion and will consequently be investing millions of pounds into this development and the surrounding area.”
