Unique four-storey living proves a success

Three-storey homes have been around for many years. Now Barratt Northampton has introduced four-storey living at NU@D2 in Northampton, and it is proving a success with buyers. Of the 165 homes, Barratt are building 12 that offer accommodation over four floors, and already eight have been snapped up. Living over more floors than the traditional two-storey home, can provide flexible living spaces, in which buyers can shape the house to how they want to live.

For example, a ground floor bedroom could equally be used as a gym, office or play room. The four-storey concept at NU@D2 offers even greater flexibility - and buyers welcome the design.

Karen Heath, sales negotiator, said: "We've had a tremendous amount of interest in these homes. Adaptable layouts, vast living spaces, and rooms with a huge amount of natural light have all been popular with buyers."

The four-storey, four and five bedroom, Arboleda, Civano and Cordova, feature a useful ground floor bedroom, generous lounge, and an impressive roof terrace from the master bedroom.
