Apartment sales off to a flying start in Duston

Apartment sales off to a flying start in Duston Brand new apartments at Bryant Homes’ Ashlar, St Crispin development in Duston, Northampton attracted a flock of visitors over the launch weekend – with three homes reserved within hours of the opening.

Property-seekers visiting the development took a tour of the beautiful new showhome – now open Thursday to Monday, 10.30am to 5.30pm – and discovered more about the regeneration of the former hospital site with 24 one, two and three-bedroom homes.

The showhome, like the apartments available to own from just £99,995, benefits from high ceilings and tall windows allowing light to sweep through the building, and blend classic features with contemporary comforts in a historical setting. Each new apartment is set within the original red-brick Victorian buildings under a landmark clock tower.

Lynne Hartshorn, Sales and Marketing Director for Bryant Homes East Midlands, says: “The Ashlar, St Crispin development received a huge amount of interest from property-seekers over the launch weekend, especially from first-time buyers keen to invest in a home which has unique character and style.

“People are taking advantage of good property prices and lower mortgage rates to secure a new home now, and we expect the 21 ‘Ashlar’ apartments remaining for sale to be snapped up very fast this spring.”

Ashlar, St Crispin is a new community occupying an elevated location on the edge of Duston village, set within a conservation area and surrounded by attractive countryside and mature woodland. Some 60 acres of private parks, woods and open areas, with planned football and cricket pitches or bowling and village greens, will contribute to the delightful backdrop.

Duston is home to a range of amenities for everyday needs, including a range of shops, pubs and places to eat, and schools for children of all ages. Northampton is just three miles away, while the famous shopping centre at Milton Keynes is 20 miles.

The development is also well-connected for travel, with the A45 just a few minutes by road, and the M1 three miles from home.

Northampton railway station provides good local services, plus regular trains into London Euston in around 60 minutes.
