Desborough couple break free with Redrow

The move to a new home in Desborough was running smoothly for Zoe and Stephen Webb until the housing chain they were in stalled. Fortunately though, developer Redrow was able to step in quickly and save the day.

The couple had their heart set on moving to a brand new home at Redrow@The Grange, but the purchaser of their old property hit problems trying to sell their home which delayed the process.

However help came in the shape of Redrow, who stepped in and completed the chain by buying the purchaser’s property in part-exchange - allowing Zoe and Stephen, who both work for a security company, to move in to a five-bedroom Wharf, with their twin boys, Lewis and Joshua 18 months.

Zoe, 30, comments: “Being from Northampton, we were originally looking for properties in that region but the high prices forced us to expand our search which in the end, I’m actually glad we did. In Desborough we got much more for our money and it’s also in a quieter area which is better for the boys.”

Having twin toddlers, Zoe and Stephen and were also keen to keep the stress of moving to a minimum so the choice between a brand new home or an older property was an easy one, as Zoe adds: “Our new home was perfect, we were able to move straight in and not have to worry about any major renovations. And compared to other new-build developments in the area, The Grange was by far the best; it has nicer external architecture and bigger gardens.”

The Grange, situated off Harborough Road in Desborough, is a development of two-bedroom apartments and three, four and five bedroom homes with prices starting from £109,995.

Home owners will benefit from close proximity to the amenities of Desborough and nearby Market Harborough and Kettering, plus easy access to the motorway network and major A-roads, providing links to the cities of Leicester, Peterborough and Northampton and beyond.
