The waiting time for Beach Huts and Hamworthy Park Sites is currently approximately 10 years and it is the Council’s policy not to add any more applicants to the list until it is reduced to 5 years waiting. There are various factors that will be taken into consideration before the lists can be reopened including the number of applicants waiting, the numbers and types (i.e. ground or upper level) of beach huts allocated in the previous three years.
